1.8 and 1.81
-much better than 1.7 and earlier versions.
-much prefer 1.8 only because it is extremely airy while having lots of vibration.
-comparatively, 1.81 is either rich or slightly bloated. not sure which.
-i love the tune. treble and bass balance is amazing. the tune is totally sweet. not an ounce of soarness. every player XA, MQn, youtube flash, foobar, sometimes has soared trebles. i thought that's a flaw of win8/2012 because in win7 isn't much of an issue. you have changed my mind!
-sometimes drums lacks enough depth and weight. wasn't easily noticed coz the stage is very focus on the music.

i cannot properly test! many files cannot play! please fix. thx

last versions i compiled for x64 base, so you need install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 (2 file vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x64.exe). download link:

Do you have a version that supports 24 bit DACs ? My Dac only works with everything sent in 24 bits - even 16 bit wavs, which is a bit annoying.

if have issue with missing .dll file, need install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 (2 file vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe)

v1.7, v1.8, v1.8.1 still have'nt fixed error with crash when double-click .bat file. be careful double-click .bat to run player. some time run OK, sometime crashed, try 2, 3 times, slower double-click. so these versions only for testing, maybe not for listening. sorry, i will try fix it.

Do you have a version that supports 24 bit DACs ? My Dac only works with everything sent in 24 bits - even 16 bit wavs, which is a bit annoying.
