I have the live 1951 recording on the Bravissimo label (which I thoroughly enjoy). Would anybody know if it is worth seeking out the live 1950 recording?

I was going to say, it looks like you've had it delivered to your office Simon. Did you bring in a capacious holdall, with which to discreetly smuggle it into the house, under the cover of darkness?

They're more-or-less used to me and my musical tastes by now, but they still find it funny when I buy physical media. I'm a dinosaur in here.

Oh, and Hazel is out tonight, so there'll be no smuggling required. Not that there would have been anyway!

Looking good! I'd be tempted if I didn't have 2/3 of the discs already!

Congratulations Simon! In a way I envy you starting out on that Pilgrimage. I am sure that it will bring many hours of listening pleasure.

Any chance of some pics. of the contents when you get home later and unwrap everything as I am very curious as to the presentation of the CDs?
