Harmonia and Brian Eno.
A must for any fan of electronica.

Nice one mick but I'd change that to quirky :-) Do you have any other Cluster/Roedelius/Harmonia albums? See you over in the Electronica section later....mick wrote:

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Three Lps they made in 1969!??! All double platinum except Green River which was triple platinum (US)
All stunning examples of John Fogerty's song writing and production skills as are the previous ones with
the exception of Mardi Gras...
Willy and the Poor Boys
Green River
Bayou Country
'Take me back down
where cool water flows.
Let me remember
things I love'

Can't dig back far enough for the quote re classic relationship break-up albums (ref Peter Hamill, about p.42 of this thread) but what about THE pre-eminent example of the genre:

Now that was one very volatile mixture, in more ways than one! Good to hear from you again Mike :-)Tertonmike wrote:Can't dig back far enough for the quote re classic relationship break-up albums (ref Peter Hamill, about p.42 of this thread) but what about THE pre-eminent example of the genre:

Picked this up in Tower last weekend. Terrific stuff - more white stripey than the last album, which may have been better..
Do or do not, there is no try
Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
The last Creedence Lp on my working backwards odyssey through their catalogue (and my own!) and nary a response :-((

Having been around the forum the last while with the good weather and all that, but would hate you to think I wasn't paying attention!cybot wrote:The last Creedence Lp on my working backwards odyssey through their catalogue (and my own!) and nary a response :-((
Listening to this before the match. Great introduction to "Don't Look Now" - "Here's one of those old traditional country songs, I wrote it about a month ago". For a bonus poinrt can you spot the error on the sleeve?
