Audiophil Optimizer Windows 2012 Core Server and 2012 R2

Post by tony »

Said I would do this type of stuff ages ago to help people interested in pursuing CA but with no clue about what it was about.Probably about time we started posting out even more CA threads on this forum anyway!
Just to separate out any discussions on the Audiophil optimiser thought I would start a thread linking the site and Jplay forum threads on this.
Not for everybody due to hassle and purchase of licences etc but certainly a lot of us here think that 2012 and 2012 R2 are worth getting and the optimizer just puts the icing on the cake by streamlining the operating system to suit computer audio. Switching off all the unnecessary processes and well read the website details if you are interested in what it does.

This can be daunting for people but for anybody interested Phil is great to deal with and very helpful. I know a lot of effort went into this as I was involved in the beta testing over a significant period of time. The manual especially is really well written and even if you are not interested in pursuing 2012 the manual is a nice guide to command line instructions.

commission?

i had used the original Audiophil core that was released for free, before it was a paid service
it worked extremely well
recently put the original one on r2 but i have not tested it yet for SQ

definitely would suit someone that didn't understand scripts that well

[quote="nige2000"]commission? I wish!

This is the easiest to put up first. Still have our text document for loading core on usb and all the various commands but when I read back through it more work is needed. Too much assumed. It needs to be audiophilized with nice instructions screenshots and pdf file with either picture of you or me lounging around with headphones on!

i dont know is it all that complicated, most people that are interested in that sort of stuff seem to be already knee deep

probably should post that text file on a new thread if theres questions we can modify the instructions

screenshots and diagrams take a lot of time

is suggested builds and a how to a requirement too?

didn't think there was sufficient interest as to go to these lengths

maybe there is
i dont mind helping as long as it will be used

Dunno to be honest. I thought there might be hidden interest and rather than having to approach people to get started at all there is at least some info to read? Will post what is there at the moment and you can proof read it and if changes are made I will just delete my post etc.

See below. Cashback offer for the Audiophil optimizer.Makes it more affordable. Very happy with the results personally. Certainly for anybody interested but finding following Jesuscheung's myriad tweaks. This offers a great way of optimizing 2012 core server and R2 and also being able to reverse it if required. Phil gives excellent technical support. If anybody I know here is interested send me a pm. Happy to pass on the refund.

"Dear valued customers

It has been a great year, developing this solution for you. Some of you were part of the story since the beginning, John Doe’s audiophile Windows 8.
Not much later the idea to use Windows Server 2012 in core mode came up and the AudiophileOptimizer was born. Based on your feedback and ideas,
we made a great and successful product and I want to thank every single one of you for your great support.

Starting from today until December 31st 2013 a cashback program is available for all existing customers. If you refer the AudiophileOptimizer to someone
else who buy’s it, you will get 20$ cash back. To get The 20$ cashback, the new customers has to fill your email or PayPal-Address in the “referred by” field
as shown in the two pictures below. You’ll get 20$ cash back for each new customer that refers to you."

Couldn't be bothered starting a new thread. Just an observation from my 12yr old son who was using windows2012 on SSD while waiting for Santa to bring Windows8.1 down the chimney.

He innocently tells me that games all load faster, react faster etc using 2012 compared to 8.1.

To my simple mind that is very telling that a child can identify distinct differences using 2012. I hadn't primed him, he was just speaking his mind.
