I missed most of the footage last weekend, but sat up to watch an hour or so of the highlights programme on the Beeb last night. Must admit, it looked like a truly magical event. I was there once (without much rain too) and I've very fond memories.
Anyway, it struck me that, after several years in the doldrums, I think pop/mainstream rock is generating quite a lot of decent stuff again. There seem to be quite a few bands and artists with talent getting some recognition and airplay, and it's great to see.
