only 1.4 and 1.4.1 work for me.

1.4.1. raw but focus and emotional. able to listen for 1 to 2 mins into crackling distortion non music. need a fix.

strange. i suspect Data Execution Prevention, if didn't disabled, try
bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff

uploaded v1.4.2, recompiled, hope this problem will be fixed. on my laptop win8 sound very good, mellow/strong/power, although this version read data from file to buffer.

Welcome, tony. currently lekt player have problem with some soundcards, v1.4 works on JC's PC.
i haven't tested for PCIs or USB DAC. i'll try more.
if it have issue with .dll file, need install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 (vcredist_x86.exe).

issues with soundcard incompatible have fixed.

i have uploaded 4 file for 4 buffer sizes into TEST_SOUNDCARD folder:
lekt.exe 06 test 160, lekt.exe 07 test 256, lekt.exe 08 test 512, lekt.exe 09 test 1024.

there have builded by same code. try it.

bass improved with better vibartion, soundstage keeped. mellow versions will be done later. soundstage more important that i try keep it in all versions.

have upload version lekt.exe1644 v1.6 readfile. i used interesting method file reading. try it.
