With the stunning performance of MQN esp on 16/44.1 material and the joy reported from those listening on Thesycon driver DAC's , is there a case to loan a Ciúnas to the MQN developer or if that's not feasible I'm sure the Ciúnas users would be happy to club together to contribute to buying one for him. Might also help keep the Ciúnas well placed in his development.

I think someone has figured out the flac thing check the CA thread page 46 or 47 think it was mentioned awhile back too come to think of it

JK would a firmware update on the a Amanero let it accept 24 in 32,
Would that fix out high res woes

There is no 24 in 32 firmware fix, at the moment Nige. The Amanero guy does not develop his software as fast as Gordon & might not even consider this mod worthwhile?

Good man, John, great minds and all that. I think it's a good idea to place the Ciúnas with him, just to try to get the best out of this software.

the amanero seems to be ok (if im reading this right) with 32 in 32, 32 in 24, 16 in 24, 24 in 16, 32 in 16
the only one we dont have is the one we need 24 in 32

seems odd when they went that far they would do them all

Thanks guys. I contacted him a couple of weeks ago about this & was meant to get one to him a week or so ago but have slipped a bit :)
He could better use a USB Ciúnas converter to use with his NAD M51 DAC & not my DAC but I'll see what I can do.
