I have been enjoying another traversal through these Buxtehude disks purchased this week... wonderful music which just keep improving with each listen!
Cheers Jared. Its good to be back alright.

Glad to see you're enjoying Buxtehude.

^^ just as a matter of interest Dave, I've noticed that you've been playing quite a bit of Baroque recently... is this a period of the Classical cannon which particularly engages you?

I suppose I ask, because I have been doing a major Baroque 'evaluation' of my collection of late and have been expanding my modest collection in this area.

I know that people won't appreciate my saying this but Symph No.1 remains my favourite... it sounds most Brahmsian...

One of my earliest purchases and still one of my favourite recordings of that work.

I was actually thinking of you Jared as I was playing that last CD as I know that you are fond of both Victoria and McCreesh.
