Hi Dermot, I really like it. Been on a lot over the weekend, hadn't listened to it for a few months before that. It definitely demands a few listens-a grower I suppose. You won't be disappointed if you liked the first one though.
Should sound good on vinyl ;-)

Nothing sorted yet, amp or tt - still looking mind. A lot going on for the next few months so might have to hold on for a while, unfortunately. And a local music store started selling vinyl now too, just to put extra temptation my way!

Following a taste of this from Mick the other night, I sought out a bit more. Really stunning stuff.

Hard to believe it but I was never blown away by the music of Led Zeppelin yet over the years I ended up with five of their albums. Some of these get a spin in the player now and then but it is music that just did not do it for me.

A recent find in a charity shop has gone some way to reverse that situation.

Encomium, a tribute to Led Zeppelin,

has Zep songs performed by many varied artists. It is interesting to hear songs that you kinda know performed 'the same but differently'. Gives fresh insight into the music.

Track Listing

1 Misty Mountain Hop - 4 Non Blondes

2 Hey Hey What Can I Do - Hootie & the Blowfish

3 D'Yer Mak'er - Sheryl Crow

4 Dancing Days - Stone Temple Pilots

5 Tangerine - Big Head Todd & the Monsters

6 Thank You - Duran Duran

7 Out on the Tiles - Blind Melon

8 Good Times Bad Times - Cracker

9 Custard Pie - Helmet / David Yow

10 Four Sticks - Rollins Band

11 Going to California - Never the Bride

12 Down by the Seaside - Tori Amos / Robert Plant
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.
