This yummy 3 Lp/2 CD/84 page 12x12 book arrived all the way from Metaphon (Belgium) this morning. Though it was posted from the Netherlands to save on the postage.
If that wasn't enough Timo also included one of his solo albums free of charge :) See below....

Did you get them from Alt Vinyl? I was very, very tempted but something else got in the way :) What's your take on Richard? I'd say, words like quirky, eccentric and charming come to the fore :)

Yes indeed! :)
I really like him. Reminds me of Jason Molina and Will Oldham... Very much the style of music I would be making if I had the talent...

I only just found out about him through Wire magazine that I have not read in yonks... And he even played Whelans without me knowing... Arh typical... I came late to both Feist AND Wilco.... The only "new" artists to really speak to me in the last few years. So this guy is a bit of a discovery! :) More of that type of thing!

I might just check him out so.....if I can be tempted away from a new artist I've just discovered - Timo Van Luijk. So far I've bought five of his albums in the last two weeks and there's still miles to go :) He also comes under AF Ursin(solo) plus collaborates with Andrew Chalk as Elodie and also In Camera with Christopher Heemann. I'm going blind trying to track down his stuff ;) It's worth it though!

Another new discovery! This time on Alt. Vinyl and it's an absolutely beautiful gatefold presentation too. From Norman Records....It's solo electric guitar with occasional percussion. Very similar to Dean McPhee....
