I realise it's the stuff of the black arts but I've found isolation (I'm not talking specifically about E Sorbs here) work extremely well under amps and even power supplies. Why they would improve sound when under a power supply I have no no idea but both my CD Player and phono stage have separate power supplies and the difference with isolation applied is clear.
Vinyl -anything else is data storage.

Thorens TD124 Mk1 + Kuzma Stogi 12"arm, HANA Red, Gold Note PH 10 + PSU. ADI-2 Dac, Lector CDP7, Wyred4Sound pre, Airtight ATM1s, Klipsch Heresy IV, Misc Mains, RCA + XLR ICs, Tellurium Q spkr cable

Hi All,

We'll be withdrawing our introductory offer in the next few days as we move over to our new website/e-shop.

Apart from Tony (don't worry I have you sorted) anyone who requested a set to try out should have them by now - feedback/comments most welcome!

Anyone who wants to hold onto their set after the trial - just send me a PM and we can sort out payment.

I'd like to express our thanks again at the encouragement, help and general good wishes received from you all!!

Just a quick word to mention that I took delivery of my E_sorbs yesterday and they have been sitting under my TT ever since. I had mentioned that I had heard these in someone else's system and I had been impressed with the improvement that they seemed to bring. I have had a similar satisfactory result with the product in my own system I am happy to say! Earth shattering revelation you will not get but they certainly "lift" the music in a very pleasant way; they really do work!

I got my 4 E-Sorb feet for use under my TT.
The turntable plinth is a self build one I completed (i.e. it works but not pretty yet!) about 9 months ago. It has been sitting on a few paper back books as a temporary solution until I figured out what to do for feet. Then along came E-Sorb.

Being only a recent audiophile convert I was kinda sceptical about the difference they would make but I was surprised. It certainly tightened and sharpened everything up. Acoustic guitar and cymbals were clearer and had more detail. I haven't detected a dramatic change in the base. I still have many improvements to make to the TT to help the sound but adding the E-Sorb has been a great start.

It did try to experiment with them on my Amp but it was a case of moving to many pieces at once I found it hard to track what I was hearing. But I suspect I will invest in another set for the Amp.

Fran - I'll, drop you a PM to arrange payment.
Thanks
Conor

BTW- attached is a poor quality image of the TT. I need some ideas on further adjustments so i will post a separate discussion on my build experiences and seek some help from the forum.

That's a serious lookin' TT there Conor! well done! I'm glad the ESorbs have worked out for you. Not to add too much to the 'dark arts' of isolation but as these are a rubber based product there will be a small amount of bedding in - maybe a few weeks.
