I wasn't there (Neil Young wouldn't be my cup of tea at the best of times) but here's the usual lazy, insulting guff from the Irish Times that says that if you didn't enjoy the gig, it's probably because you're not a true fan, and basically it's all your own fault anyway:

Yup. Nicely put.
I have a particular hatred of that accusation of "just wanting to hear it like the album". There may indeed be some punters out there who feel this way, but it's a lazy stereotype.

I thought the sound was pretty darn good, I too was just up front of the sound desk.
The only let down was the endless ending of feedback, but you gotta let the old fart get his few minutes of leaning on his guitar amp!
Great blast of Cinnemon Girl.
I enjoyed.

From where I was in the stand the sound was rubbish. I wonder if the lack of big screens and and the poor sound in areas of the stadium might indicate that the rig was for an indoor arena? It looks like the UK leg gigs were indoors. Where would the responsibility for venue selection lie? Aiken Promotions or NY's management?

if there were big screens, they were never taken off the back of the truck, the whole stage was one giant bin liner....
