Smilies option

Mods, can you add FAQ topic re changing posting options. I can't find how to turn smilies on - even when I reset user options in Control Panel it won't turn on. Am I barred from using them or wha'?

You're not barred Mike, smilies aren't available across the entire forum. A simple :) or ;) or God forbid :( gets the message across!
