That's a very great shame, Sean because I agree completely with Fergus' comments on Palestrina's abilities. That said, it is most refreshing to see someone admit to not appreciating something without other forum members jumping on them and saying 'you're not trying hard enough!'. Perhaps in time Seán. It is very beautiful music particularly when sung by a quality ensemble like the Tallis Scholars.

there's a particularly fighty and argumentative hifi forum in the UK called hifiwigwam
