Dumb question, I know but in Jplay streaming mode (2PC) where do I set the Ultrasize register - on ControlPC/AudioPC or both??
The answer will save me looking through the Jplay forum whose search function is not good.
great

im not much use to ya this time, i didn't know so i set them both, but i think its probably audio pc by the way it acts

jplay forum search is completely useless, Google gets it hard to find anything in it for some reason as well.

its a silver streacom case but its only 215 delivered may be cheaper than the hd-plex

....
Here's something you may be able to help me with - when boot NUC from WTG, I always get presented with the "Performance option" screen I mentioned earlier - you know the one that asks to select for best performance of Programs or Background services. When running this headless, I wonder is there any way of defaulting this so that it doesn't appear as a question to be answered?

Edit: Just happened upon the answer to registry settings on Jplay forum - set it in ControlPC

Was sort of hanging around waiting to sign for this streacom case, they usually would have delivered by now so i checked up on it, they said there was no-one at the address to sign for it, and they would make a reattempt tomorrow.
so im a little more than pissed off!!!
UPS there usually quite good there must be a lazy driver today
now i have to work late for no reason

they better not do the same thing tomorrow
ill have a 5h1t fit

if it were GLS i would have known not to bother hanging round

im unfamilar with this, never seen it
but i assume its in the bios this option is coming up, when you select it ensure you save it to cmos usually f10 and Y and enter
cant see why that would come up every time.
if still in trouble post a picture of the screen

Yea, UPS are pretty good but the odd glitch like you experienced - I reckon it is driver-based. Let them know that you were there & no attempt was made. id they get enough reports for the same driver he may correct his behaviour?

GLS are just 5hit & to be avoided, as you say. I complain every time I get screwed by them!

It's buried deep in Control panel/System/Advanced System Settings/Advanced/Performance/Settings - phew!

Yep, ALL registry settings in 2PC streaming are done on ControlPC

well at least its not just me that has this great love of couriers.
GLS pricing is well well below everybody else, that why there service is so good
ive cancelled urgent orders if i find out its GLS, the packages are usually get well traveled

i had a bad patch with a new driver in DPD, no amount of complaining was listened to by customer service, they really don't care.

i usually notify our suppliers of poor courier service as well, they get more attention

oh seen your other post

oh the virtual memory page file thingy
just make sure when you disable it you click apply edit (sorry not apply its set)

turning it off actually made mine worse maybe ive another issue to sort out yet

ive gone forward and back on this latency i tried the page filing disabled again, still making it worse
i put in 8/4/6 gb ram as well and was of no consequence only booted faster with more
so im here right now

page filing still the one i cant put manners on

My picopsu arrived today but I won't be able to try it out as the audiopc (compaq) has a 6 pin supplementary plug but the pico has a 4 pin one.

Ah well, would have been good to compare,....
