hanging on to my cd collection and transport....

the more I think about it, and the more ca seems to equal cd playback (ignoring for the time being hi-res, just focusing on redbook) the more I think that ca would make the hifi a lot more palatable and discrete from the better half perspective,not having a wall occupied by CDs, while I can indulge the tactile and reverential side of things with vinyl,
Brass Bands are all very well in their place -
outdoors and several miles away....

Ah, right, I'm with you now. Yes the only thing CA is missing is the tactile element - it easily delivers in the sonic department (I would now say it is now beyond what most CD transports can deliver based on the latest Jplay update & the audio PC I heard in Tony's last night. It still doesn't have the album covers, smell & ritual that vinyl can address - so you are covering all the bases
