Got a quad of cryo treated Gold Lion KT88's from the states. Cryoed because that is what the guy does with his valves.
His prices are very competitive and are cheaper than non cryoed valves from european sources. Delighted with the change in sound.
Warmer sound maybe losing a little detail but very happy with it.
Another package arrived today from a wammer. Really nice gent who had bought a lot of nos valves. Well popped them in now too early to identify any differences but they certainly glow differently. Look like a pair of bright eyes (3 in my case) staring out at me.
Are they nos I haven't a clue but they certainly look the part in terms of the construction etc.
