Sorry Jared, I can't help you there. I love the pieces already, it's the recordings I'm coming round to. For whatever reason, Debussy spoke to me very early on in my musical life. Wish I understood why!

One of those forgotten discs on the shelf. Deserves to be listened to far more often.

I also have that set....also forgotten on the shelf....also agree that it should be listened to far more often....so also need to listen to it again soon!!

how do you find that set as a whole Darren? I have the Alban Bergs and the Budapests....

I've never been able to warm to the Alban Berg, maybe it's just me but it feels like romantic taken to rico suaaaaaave levels

p.s if you are unfamiliar with RICO Suaaaaaave...


Brass Bands are all very well in their place -
outdoors and several miles away....
