To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:
a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

I am looking to sell my iMac. Details:
iMac G5 I've have had from new, late 2005
It comes from a smoke free home. Extremely well looked after. Complete with original box, Tiger 10.4 and Leopard 10.5 DVD install disks. iWork 06 and iLife 06 discs. Original handbook for the iMac and OS X Leopard.
Comes with Apple wireless keyboard, Apple wireless Magic Mouse and Apple remote included.
It has had a clean install with Leopard 10.5.8
All in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. No dead pixels on screen. No scratches or dents anywhere. Keyboard and Mouse in fantastic condition. The whole thing is virtually as new.
20" screen size
RAM upgraded to 1.5GB.
2.1GHz processor
Hard drive upgraded to 250GB
iSight camera
8X Superdrive DVD/CD player/rewriter
Full spec on apple support website

I have the case of an old 9600 if that's any use to you?
No electronics whatsoever though there is a good selection of external drive faceplates (zip, CD, floppy, blank etc.)
I absolutely LOVED my 9600 and it served me well for many years. Was thinking of building a modern machine inside it but time and skills are letting me down.

I have a Colour Classic from the early 90's if that is of any use.
The last time I checked it was non working, and the ADB mouse ball is missing (Argh).
Not really sure I want to part with it, but willing to loan it to you if its for something specific.
