I'd say I bought 15-20 CDs that day....
Brass Bands are all very well in their place -

they played you nice music...

you let your guard down...

they came in for the kill...

if I've heard it once, I've heard it a thousand times...

it used to happen to me, every time I visited Yarborough House: http://www.yarboroughhouse.com/lpsandcds.html

So after a mix-up with Play.com regarding my credit card, this finally arrived a couple of days ago:

This is not a luxurious package (!) but early snippets suggest I'm going to enjoy it. It all just sounds right.

I'd completely forgotten I'd even ordered this:

but it just arrived. I'd ordered (and paid a tiny sum for) a used copy, but this has arrived shrink-wrapped and with what look like original stickers on the wrapping. Good result!

my research leads me to the conclusion that along with the Italiano, this is the most highly regarded of the complete sets of SQs. It also contains some Divertimenti and other assortment pieces, over 7 very full CDs. I'm looking forward to it v much.

Gosh, up there with the -- fabulous -- Italian Quartet! That would be well worth listening to.
