so my sennheisers have vanished....
shopping for new in ear phones... <€100
must have remote and mic...
what I'm wondering is, etymotic mc3 which were my first instinct, being kind of hifi... seem to get slated for being "thin".... but is this in contrast to the beats effect where it's all about bass???
Other options are the klipsch s4i...???
Any ideas???

Re: iPhone headphones
Philips Downtowns, I know Philips haven't been known lately for a decent headphone for a while(I did have a really comfortable over ear pair sometime in the 90s, sound was ok) but I bought a pair of these on a whim after trying on a pair in amsterdam, and they sound really great, nice smooth sounding nothing too bright or harsh, with a decent low end, and they have a mic. Draw backs, cable while flat and non tangling does seem a tad flimsy, looks mightn't be to everyones taste, but a 60 euro delivered a better sound than my px100ii

The whole place is a complete mess. Can't find anything. Right now I'm eating scrambled eggs, with a comb, from a shoe!
