Jadis DA50 Amps and Others

Back on Irish soil.Checked on the speakers used with the Jadis amp and they were B&W 804's and the oscar peterson was 'we get requests'. I have ordered it as I thought the track played was fantastic. Good to be back was in switzerland for 2 days what an expensive country. Must be 35-60% dearer for most normal living stuff.

Ok Many thanks to the poor forum members who had to listen to my dithering over the last few months. You all know who you are and I very much appreciate being able to touch base and get ideas and soundings before jumping in and finally prising open the wallet. Obviously after all the advice I still went out and bought what my heart was set on from the beginning. DA50S arrived today from sunny bruxelles. Pristine condition fired up and sweating out the house on an unusually warm summer night for Ireland. My job is now done no more amp upgrades just listening to the music from now on. Would recommend trawling the net for stuff that is not available here on the net. I spoke to various dealers and private sellers and found them all generally great to deal with. One last journey to be made later this week to get something else but will stay quiet until I get it home safely.

That is a great feeling. Congratulations Tony! And may you savour every moment of this "honeymoon". A feeling I very much hope to experience in the VERY near future when something lands on my doorstep from France. ;)

Thanks guys. Best of luck with the 'new arrival' Claus. Ken no prob any time just bring some sushi and that dog lead cable yoke you purchased by mistake a while ago. Dermot, I had a lucky escape another tirnahifi man tried to put me off the jadis and send me in the glenn croft direction but I blew the amp straight away to head him off at the pass.
