The Marantz stuff on adverts is a good buy.Peats is dear for what you are getting.
I sold a few items over the last couple of months. System Audio SA1530 speakers circa €800 new,Marantz PM66SE KI €600 new, Marantz CD63KI €600 new, Nordost Flatline Mkii 5metre Pair (€400 I think). That lot went for circa €700 very close to your budget and would cost €2400 new. So that gives you an idea of what you could get.BTW if somebody had been buying all that off me on one day they would have paid less. The B&W speakers advertised here are good value coupled with the marantz gear on adverts and you have a great little system. Most punters would be content with that forever. It is only the looneys here that keep changing and changing.
