It is a crying shame, isn't it? Hopefully it's only a temporary arrangement and I'll be in a better position in the future to take it back down. But don't worry I still have my guitar, sorry, Notts. Analogue :) Welcome to the forum by the way!Darek wrote:Thank you :)
I like to attach few pictures but when I tried I got the message: Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached. :( maybe later :)
Hmm.... Cybot LINN IN THE ATTIC what a shame :)))

The Harbeth speakers havent got a mention here yet but I got a good listen to them yesterday. They are now set up in the downstairs room on the end of a Leben CS600 and the big Meridian CDP. They sound a LOT better than they did upstairs according to Noel.
The Harbeth/Leben combo are supposed to be a good match despite the low sensitivity of the Harbeths. Certainly they sounded interesting and had a sound VERY different from my own setup at home. Lovely natural midrange and accoustic guitar sounded very impressive indeed. Overall though it probably wouldnt be a sound for me though as a found the bottom end a bit wooly and bloated but many would love their presentation I'd say. The Leben CS600 has a slightly harder edge compared to the CS300 and the smaller Leben is supposed to be the dream match for the Harbeths. There may be a CS300 turning up in the shop soon though. ;-)

I heard the Harbeths yesterday too and while they're 'nice', they're not a sound I'd be looking for.
Will respond on the other thread when not under a baby, but I take it the kharma monos are continuing to deliver?

Re: Sunday Afternoon Sessions at Cloney's.
I spent most of yesterday listening to music. No matter what recording I threw at the monos they handled it all with aplomb. It's a bit of cliche I know but when you listen to whole recordings one after another without wanting to change disc that's surely a good sign. I'll add more to the other thread later.Diapason wrote:I take it the kharma monos are continuing to deliver?
