yes, the forces are slightly lighter than say a Karajan or Solti, but I think its a uniformly superb set, Dave. There are subtler shades of colouring frequently brought to the fore by Kubelik as a consequence...

I have been concentrating on the shorter Divertimenti on these disks, which are unlike the 4 Keyboard Concerti, new to me. Slighter pieces they may be, but equally delightful.

now, the Haydn traversal continues with my 1st listen to:
