Ah now, Sexton, D'arcy, Madigan and the 2 Kearneys made passes yesterday that looked like something out of The Matrix! There's no doubt that BO'D is the real natural on the team but there's a chemistry there now that must be the envy of all other Northern hemisphere clubs.
Granted Ivor....but look closely at say Rob Kearney who is surely one of the greatest catchers of a ball. Almost every time he then goes to ground, we ruck the opposition have that few valuable seconds to regroup and the impetus can all to quickly be lost. A quick offload and the opposition are then constantly on the bak foot as the gain line is constantly broken á la Blacks or Australia. Keep forcing the opposition backwards at every possibly opportunity!

By god Fergus I wouldnt like to be managed by your good self. Heineken Cup unbeaten, Pro12 ran away with the league and you are still looking for improvements. Have to get them up against the all blacks and see how they fare.
There is nothing wrong with striving for excellence Tony. With just a few tweaks they really could be a fabously excellent team for a long time to come given an injury free run.

Just back from the final. Two great sets of supporters and ultimately we were flattered by the score. The potential in this team is awesome, five tries, all from forwards, and the last two coming from replacement forwards popping up on opposite wings!!! Felt sorry for Ulster, they didn't deserve to be destroyed as they were. Poor Paddy Jackson was playing beyond his level and should have been taken off earlier to protect him from trauma if nothing else. Before the game I thought if we could get at Pienaar (which would mean going through Ferris first!) and get him on the back foot that we would negate Ulster's attack, but Kearney and Nacewa were incredible under the high ball and that attacking option was removed. I wonder if the rolling on of subs around the sixty minute mark and on was with one eye on next Sunday against The Ospreys?
One gripe, Twickenham had run out of Heineken by half time!!! Did nobody tell them that there were two Irish teams in the final???
