Some recent acquisitions:

Café Zimmermann strike again: a wonderfully fresh Brandenburg 4.

Messiaen's Harawi from Hetna Regitza Bruun. Excellent, though not quite up to Jane Manning's standard in this hair-raising music!

Image

One-to-a-part B Minor Mass from Kuijken and La Petite Bande. Stupendous!

This set has stylish playing with a full sound. The speeds are medium paced and the sound quality is very good. The set has a unique “feel” to it which I cannot quite pinpoint Dave but it is attractively different. An example would be No. 6 with its lower register instruments which has a really lovely sound.
