Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Started listening to Steve Tibbetts last night after a long absence;we go back a long way and when I listened to 'Bye Bye Safe Journey' I was back in Dún A Rí ('88) walking through the park, listening to the same music on a huge walkman and having a laugh with Marie's parents and my own;sadly there's only one of the parents left (my own Father) and I couldn't help but shed a wee tear..... Anyway I decided, out of the blue, to check his site again an,lo and behold,I was excited to discover that he has a new album out (just released!!!!) and his first in 8 years, sounding exactly the same as he did way back on that balmy Sunday in that almost mythical Park.....we just can't bring ourselves to revisit that magical place, maybe someday soon; when we eventually do, I know exactly what music I'll be listening to :-))
His new album 'Natural Causes'.

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
A while back I bought 3 Jimi Hendrix Lps on the same day and I said I was just back from Villanova Junction; well I was staggered to discover that Steve Tibbetts actually did his own acoustic version for his new album which ended up on the cutting room floor as it didn't suit the mood of the album;I was delighted to discover this video which he made available on his own site - enjoy...

On LP.
just read too in one of the hifi mags that Appetite for Destruction (probably my favorite record) is being re-released on 180gm vinyl. I picked a good time to get a turntable. :-)
