Totally off topic but I could not help but immediately notice that the letter "Y" is in the wrong place on that "keyboard". I wonder when it was moved? [Don't mind me, it will be OK soon!]
Perhaps it's meant to be an enigma....
Of course!! It's an Enigma Machine, not a typewriter! Somebody clever at the EMI picture department!!

Edit: that explains the position of the Y: it's German typewriter keyboard layout.

Perhaps they thought it best to try and hide the "Y" in case someone thought to make a play on the name, Vaughan, because it rhymes with.....say no more, say no more!

Bach's birthday today so I'm doing something I rarely do: listening to some of his organ works (played by Hans Fagius). Apparently it's international organ day today or some such, so it had to be organ music.

I really dislike the way the track listings are all over the place on that set. I rarely play it as a result. If I want to play say the trio sonatas one has to really search them out.

Annoys me too, and quite a few complete sets are laid out this way. I can see why in terms of individual discs, but I don't like it anyway.

This is the first recording of the original version of Il Pastor Fido. Lucy Crowe is just exquisite.
