It is a nice set but I was a bit disappointed when I bought it. There is something in the interpretation that was different then what I am more used to. For example, the sonata K.332 is not as energetic and smooth like I like. That being said, Ms.Uchida is a top-notch pianist.

I am aware that it may not be everyone's cup of tea but this is an 18 cd box set of probably my favorite composer. It has everything, the orchestral, chamber and piano work. Even 2 cds of songs (which I am not at all familiar with) and the complete Pélléas et Mélisande Opera conducted by Boulez. All of this for 38 cdn dollars. The complete piano music set included here is taken from another box set that I had my eyes on. It should be awesome !

Interesting comments Matt. I only have one other set of Mozart's Piano Sonatas, that by Wurtz, so I wanted another one. The comparison should be interesting.

I believe that it is Robert and Gaby Casadeus which means that this is the exactly the box set by Crossley that I had in mind.
