Thank you Matt. That's a very nice message :-Dravel30 wrote:I have told you this before on the other forum Darren but I will mention it again here. You are as close as possible to be my classical music soulmate. I have never met another cm fan who has taste as similar to mind. You got me a few months ago when you listened to all those John Adams cds.bombasticDarren wrote:^^ a wonderful choice and one that I might have made myself!

I shouldn't have dithered. This seems to have gone up in price by about £10 since I last checked. Gah! *shakes fist at our Amazon overlords*Seán wrote:15 of course!Diapason wrote:Now I'm in a quandary: buy a single disc, or buy a 15 disc box set...

You may get a copy of the boxset from Rarewaves for £45.60 which works out at less than €60, I paid €62 for it in Tower many moons ago, so it's great value at that price from Rarewaves.Diapason wrote:I shouldn't have dithered. In fact, you may get a copy of the set from Rarewaves-FR on Amazon.fr for €52.44 + €3.40 pp. so buy baby, buy.

Nah, can't do it at that price. It was available for 30 quid on amazon when I first posted about it. Even at the current £40 it's too rich for my blood.

God DAMN it, you people are a bad influence on me. I'm getting that delivered to work, but if I even mention buying more CDs before payday in March you must remind me of imminent childcare costs. Gah!

Is there some correlation working here Si: Recent new child = Lots of recent CD purchases LOL!?!?!Diapason wrote:God DAMN it, you people are a bad influence on me. The correlation is purely with the recent new amps! Unfortunately, the timing there was very poor, as the recent new child severely curtails the time available with the recent new amps...fergus wrote: Is there some correlation working here Si: Recent new child = Lots of recent CD purchases LOL!?!?!

Ah, yes, I forgot the amps. I presume everything is working out fine there now? Have you had them re-valved yet?Diapason wrote:The correlation is purely with the recent new amps! Yes indeed, successfully revalved, running in monoblock mode now and using as much power as a small village. All good.fergus wrote: Ah, yes, I forgot the amps. I presume everything is working out fine there now? Have you had them re-valved yet?
