I have actually got some extra contracted hours at work, so things are looking a fraction more buoyant financially (economies will still be made though...)

One of Ciaran's (Monteverdi) desert-island discs I think, and experience with this team suggests I'll really enjoy it.

Veronica, HATES Stravinsky, it really irritates her, she and doesn't get instrumental Bach either she finds it tiring after a short spell, however she really likes his sacred music. She LOVES Mahler's Symphones particularly his Third and Mozart's Pianio Sonatas. Why am I telling you all this? Try it on the wife and your beautiful child too.

My wife and I laughed this morning when I read that. It is the same for her. In the first few months of our relationship we saw Petrushka in concert and she said that she did not like it. She thought that it was only Bing! Bang! Bing! I laugh at that story now but I remember that it got me thinking at the time :) .

My wife said that Veronica has great taste.
