ta guys, It has a lot of wooden stuff and desks at the moment but no comfy sofa and cushions etc. So now I have to buy a whole pile of soft furnishings instead of cables! Thats no fun!. That probably helps explain the sudden change of sound. The other room was more condensed in height with plenty of soft stuff. I wonder with Dave was that part of his issue as well? As discussed with Ivor it makes sense not to rush anything as you can end up chopping and changing equipment for possibly the wrong reasons. Have to dig out my vivaldi and do some homework.
