Niiiiiiice! I am a big fan of Borodin and especially of his unfinished third. The first movement is amazing. It is at the same time catchy, philosophical and spiritual. I have always found that movement to be very unique. Maybe it has to do with Glazunov's orchestration...

I had never heard Borodin's 1st or 3rd symphonies before this disc. I really enjoyed the 1st and the fragments of the 3rd were absolutely wonderful...if completed it would have been a worthy follow up to the glorious 2nd symphony. I hope more of you give this disc a try.
