This keeps popping up:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tallis-Complete ... 669&sr=1-8

Any thoughts? The price is good, but I know nothing about the group in question.

^^ buy it... buy it... buy it.

one of the standard bearers for the repertoire, the original Signum release was very expensive until Brilliant came along and did that erm.. brilliant thing that they do. Bought mine for a tenner; you'll never get better value for money!

One more while I'm on amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004 ... ROKL5A1OLE

Heard Argerich playing a slow movement from a Chopin concerto on the radio the other day and it was just gorgeous. I'd always heard great reports about her, and I'm wondering if this would be a suitable box set to get me started.

Thanks Fergus. I ordered it today along with the Martinon Debussy and Ravel sets. Box sets are just so cheap now...
