He failed at String Quartet writing, he failed at Symphonic writing, he failed at Oratorio writing....forgive me but I wonder will Dance be any different? Let me know what you think once you have listened to it critically....cybot wrote:Apparently it's his debut orchestral score for dance and it's performed by the London Classical Orchestra. It also contains a digital download plus a bonus live recording of the New York Gala Premeire. Find a couple of customer reviews below:fergus wrote:What is that one all about Dermot?cybot wrote:

I won't be able to listen to it Fergus as it's a Christmas present for an old pal of mine! Have a listen yourself on YouTube and see what you think....Anyway I think I'd get that sinking feeling if I did listen to it critically ;-)fergus wrote:cybot wrote:

Nice haul there Dave! Particularly interested on what you think of the Floyd set and especially the Dead triple. I think I remember recommending that one a while back. By the way did you see the other one? Europe '72 Vol. 2....apparrently never released before; I was sorely tempted by that one when I saw it first last Tuesday. Outrageous price though :( Nice to see that classic Argus cover again......wonder did they do a good job on the mastering?DaveF wrote:On vinyl...

I got a signed cd copy after his concert last year but somehow I couldn't get into it properly. I won't go into the reasons why but it's a completely different kettle of fish on vinyl :-) Wow!
