Re: What are you listening to?
Hi Folks,
Just dropping in with a very quick note to explain my absence... basically, my Youth Hostel is being completely refurbished at present, to such a point that I have had to move out for a bit. All my stuff including my PC has been boxed up and placed in the hostel to avoid any of it getting damaged by the plasterers, and I have therefore travelled for an 'enforced' week off, to a friends in Lancaster. She has lent me her laptop to send in this message to you all, but basically I won't be back with you until next weekend.
I am however pleased to say that she enjoys classical music, and I have been listening to Handel's Violin Sonatas by Egarr/ Manze (Harmonia Mundi) and Corelli's Violin Sonatas Egarr/ Manze which is a real treat! I am meanwhile enjoying yet another traversal through the Haydn Piano Trios and Mass boxset as previously mentioned.
I hope everyone on the forum is well, and I'll look forward greatly to being back in touch with you all in due course... just had to drop in and see what you were listening to, and as always its top notch stuff... ;-))
Take care and have a good week.
Jared
