Wadia 861 interest check

Post by dhyantyke »

I am currently looking to add computer audio to my set up (ref my 'sooloos' thread) which may lead to parting with my current cdp which is Wadia 861b: in perfect condition, no marks/scratches; bought from Cloney's about 18 months ago and with remote control, original box. The range with Cloney's for this player is 3 to 3.5k.
Anyone interested?

just wondered if you considered using the digital inputs on the wadia as a way to process your computer audio?? just asking as im thinking about it but have not done so yet. Anyway best of luck with sale, have to say having had a lot of cool players, Burmester, reimyo and more this is the best.

yep I love the sound I'm getting from the player. Unfortunately mine is 861b and does'nt have the dig. ins which is a real drag. I'm hoping to grab a listen to the jkenny dac at some stage as a possible alternative to changing the cdp to one with dig capability. Will post eventual results. Thanks for the input. DT
