Projector Calibration

Post by willsandbills »

I have a sim2 c3x that was calibrated a couple of years ago by Gordon from convergent, and he did a super job. Now replaced the bulb and probably worth recalibtrating. However the celtic tiger has fled and i could not afford to bring anyone from UK. So finally, is there any calinrator in ireland who can help? im in Galway.

I used a DVD "set up" disc on mine and while basic it helped. Yours is probaly fine really if was calibrated already. I'll check with some I know to see if he does this (he probably does) and get back to you.

I've PM'ed Gordon a few times and he always seemed like a nice chap. I was going to get him to do an ISF calibration if I ever bought a projector, but time has moved on...!

Anyway, last I heard he was still doing the occasional trip to Ireland, and trying to match his UK prices. Might be worth contacting him at least to see if he has any trips planned.

It seems it needs the proper gear to calibrate properly so if you're going to get it done right you'll need to get the right guy. It seems you know him already!
