Deep Purple vinyl price shocker....

Post by cybot »

Just found out about this very desirable release which is coming out tomorrow. However I got a massive shock when I saw the price!! It's double Lp plus the same stuff on two cds plus a few pages, all in a box for..........£104.99!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! This is the Amazon price minus postage! The cd version retails for £8.99!?!? EMI, you should be ashamed of yourselves.....

I share your annoyance at this rip-off approach to those of us who like vinyl recordings, they will turn people off the medium entirely.

Spotted the double cd version in my local HMV today. It was going for the princely sum of just €16.99.....
