Fergus & Dave, I would heartily recommend this CD to you, if you don't already own it... it is an imaginary 80 minute programme culminating in Biber's Requiem, which also uses music by Muffat, Schmelzer, Megerle and Di Lasso which Biber would have known and quiote possibly have worked into his own musical services, around his own compositions.. it's really wonderful, by McCreesh who seems to have a real feel for this music, and is going quite cheap on Amazon at present... I really think you'd both love it.
