Jazz - What's your bag, man?
Re: Jazz - What's your bag, man?
Zoot is my favourite tenor player, I saw him many, many years in Kilkenny, they were fabulous sessions, Noel Kelehan played piano in the supporting trio, he wasn't very pleased Kelehan though and he made no secret of the fact.

Notes: An emotional album written around the thought that knowledge is everything. From basic schooling any ideas may grow and we should strive to provide that education to all people equally. The mix of timing and instrumentation feels natural throughout and how could you go wrong with a line-up like this. Not to mention rubbing elbows with one of the best bass men in the business. The cover photo harkens back to an earlier time when it wasn't about internet access and computers, but something as basic as just having an available seat in the class to sit and listen.
Line Up:
Wynton Marsalis: horn
Branford Marsalis: soprano sax, tenor sax
Jeff (Tain) Watts: drums
Charnett Moffett: bass
Kenny Kirkland: piano
Ron Carter: bass on "Aural Oasis"
Track Listing
Side 1
