What are you listening to?
Re: What are you listening to?
Ludwig van Beethoven
String Quartet No 14, Op 131
Quartetto Italiano
I love this music, this performance was recorded in July 1969 and the Decca engineers did a superb job in recording the Itailans. Strongly recommended.

Re: What are you listening to?
Yes, he is, in fact I caught him listening to the delightful Ms Jansen so that's why I gave it a spin. I have suggested that he listen to the Fabulous Biondi/Europa Galante and Sarah Chang performances too.fergus wrote:Thanks for the heads up on CD Review Seán!Seán wrote:Fergus, tomorrow's CD Review is awash with Classical guitar music.
Antonio Vivaldi
The Four Seasons
Candida Thompson (violin 1), Henk Rubingh (violin 2), Julian Rachlin (viola), Maarten Jansen (cello), Stacey Watton (double bass), Elizabeth Kenny (theorbo); Jan Jansen (organ/harsichord)
Janine Jansen {solo violin}
This is a hugely enjoyable performance of the Four Seasons.
I bought it three years ago after this: http://www.classicalmusicguide.com/view ... ns#p201108
Is No. 1 son still interested in that particular CD and classical music in general?
