Symphonies 1-4....I really like these performances; they are powerful, hard-nosed and unsentimental versions.

There are some lovely traditional Irish airs and dances which are very well arranged and played on this disc and the reason that I have posted it here is that there are also some lovely pieces by JS Bach, Purcell, Handel and Mozart played in the traditional Irish style, which is not a quantum leap in listening terms. It is an interesting and lovely disc.
