Thanks Sean... I'm going away on holiday tomorrow morning, for a week... hence no more posting here for the time being I'm afraid...

however I will be taking Brendel & Barenboim Beethoven Piano Sonatas with me, so we can get acquainted in the car...

thanks Fergus... I certainly shall do... ;-))

I am still very much enjoying the Piano Sonatas, so I won't post any more album covers... it is interesting to see his style develop in a very similar way to his String Quartets, in terms of going from Classical elegance to Romantic complexity, the higher up the opus nos you go...

A wonderful sounding instrument. The pieces here though are played a little slower than I would have liked but still enjoyable.
