^^ it'll be a little while yet of course, but I will do... am certainly looking forward to it.

Shock, horror... one of my favourite Minkowski disks is actually French music!! This one is a real gem... do you own it?

No Jared but....
Anyway, Charpentier should not be classed alongside those other French guys that you have issues with. Charpentier is definitely in a class of his own there!!!!

Fergus: No, I said it tongue in cheek... I've always maintained that French Music didn't start going downhill until after berlioz... ;-))

Dave: A high quality boxset at a bargain price... how could you possibly go wrong?

It sure is a bargain Jared. Sony have released quite a few bargain boxsets lately.

Sean knows I say it entirely tongue in cheek of course... Franch music is something I will tackle at a later stage... and when I finally conquer it for myself, I will be happy to prove myself wrong.. just not for a while, at least...

I will leave it to you to find out for yourself so. Although perhaps a copy of Roussel's Third with the RSNO might cure you of your ills?
