The guy in the shop whose judgement I normally trust recommended it to me above the early stuff that was on the shelves that day :-( Thanks for clearing that up Fergus; Which one or two would you recommend?

My absolute favourite Kinks album by a long way is "Face to Face".

Would you believe I couldn't get that title out of my head this few days! Must have a look next time I'm back in the capital, thanks Fergus....

Picked up the newly remastered cd of this today and giving it a spin now. Music great but not wowing me on the sonics front

Nice selection of albums including the two above. I've heard of Shearwater but not The Imagined Village. What's your opinion on them John?
