The issue for me with Zinman in general Seán is that he seems to attack music in just one way i.e. all with a strong, powerful and assertive approach. I may be off the mark here and there is nothing wrong with this per se but sometimes a different approach is called for. Where I want this approach in any music however, I would not hesitate to turn to him as the standard of performance is always good.
