Thanks Derek, I nearly bought those of Ivor a while back but we never made the deal happen.
I am still intrigued by them, however I've never had the chance to try anything from Ref 3a so haven't the slightest idea how they would sound.
I'm guessing neutral enough.

Looking for a pair of civilised standmounters with a mature and refined 'unboosted' presentation for classical/opera, similar to Vienna acoustics.
Ideally something with an original retail price between 1K and 2K.

I was actually on the phone with them this morning and they won't ship them to me, strangely. They have the box but claim it to be insufficient.
Plenty of options via hifi shark but as you suggest, how trustworthy are they.
I definitely want to find a pair however.

Looking for one of the older Theta DACs, particularly the DS Pro Series - DS Pro - Progeny / Basic / Prime etc..
There's a few available throughout Europe but if I can pick one up locally that'd be even better. Based in Dublin.
