That would be great. How often do you meet? Anyone know if I can get high voltage transformers in Ireland? Or anyone get any experience of winding transfomers?

No. Not me I'm afraid. But It's good to know I'm not the only nut around here. I rediscovered diy electronics after a long absence. I'm a recovering musician and sound engineer but have been away from all that long enough to start enjoying music again!

I'm finalising a pre amp design at the moment but without phono (horror, I know but I've no record player!) Have a look at the svp by Allen Wright at Vacuum State. I was very tempted to build it but it's way more than I need at the moment.

I'm into building stuff and could do with some others to compare notes with. So far I have 3 way speakers, a valve buffered chip amp and a dac.
Andy, how much are the connectors costing?
